HIGH POINT, N.C.—Limestone College’s Scott Schweihofer (Marysville, Mich.) was named the Conference Carolinas men’s volleyball Player of the Week, as released by the league office on Tuesday. Schweihofer led Limestone to a 3-2 victory over Pfeiffer University on April 1 as he recorded 33 kills and 15 digs during the match. He also recorded 12 kills, seven digs, and four aces against a veteran Quincy University program on Saturday.

GAFFNEY, S.C.—The Limestone College men’s volleyball team played their final match of the season on Saturday against a veteran Quincy University squad. The Saints came up short in three games, losing 28-30, 28-30, and 25-30. Limestone ends its inaugural season with 12-10 record.

The Limestone College men’s volleyball team is nearing the end of its inaugural season as the Saints will play their final regular season game on Saturday at the Timken Center when they host Quincy University at 3 p.m. in Gaffney, S.C. The Saints are 12-9 overall and 4-4 in conference action. The team is ranked No. 16 in the latest NCAA Division I/II national statistics in match win-loss percentage (.579). Additionally, Limestone is ranked 14th in the nation in two more statistical divisions: aces per game (1.35) and digs per game (10.79).
