SUMTER, S.C.—The Limestone College Lady Saints suffered a 5-1 loss to Mount Olive College on Saturday in the Conference Carolinas tournament semifinals. The #5-seeded Lady Saints’ record stands at 9-9 overall. Mount Olive, the #1 seed, advances to play #3 Erskine in the championship contest. Limestone moves to the consolation bracket where it will face #2 Lees-McRae. The winner of that match will finish third in the competition.

SUMTER, S.C.—The Limestone College women’s tennis team defeated Coker College 5-0 in the quarterfinal round of the Conference Carolinas tournament on Friday. The Lady Saints’ record improves to 9-8 overall. Limestone, seeded # 5 in the competition, will play #1 Mount Olive in the tournament semifinals tomorrow at noon.

SUMTER, S.C.—Six Limestone College tennis players were named All-Conference Carolinas, as announced at the league tournament banquet on Thursday evening. Jimena Munoz Quiroga (La Candelaria, Coyoacan, Mexico), Jen Snaider (Asuncion, Paraguay), and Eve Aubry (Boucherville, Quebec, Canada) represent the Lady Saints, while Thomas Ollivier (Caen, France), Miguel Lopez Zuniga (Guanajuato, Mexico), and Phillippe Hogan (Montreal, Quebec, Canada) represent Limestone on the men’s side.

GAFFNEY, S.C.— The Limestone College women’s tennis team was edged by Mount Olive, 5-4, on Wednesday afternoon at the Emmie Evans Rector Tennis Center. Limestone stands at 8-8 overall (5-4 conference) after today’s Conference Carolinas loss. The Trojans climb to 10-9 overall (8-1 league).

The Limestone College softball, baseball and tennis contests scheduled for this afternoon have been postponed due to rain. The Lady Saints softball team will now host St. Andrews on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Lady Saints Field in Gaffney, S.C. The Saints baseball game against Lenoir-Rhyne in Hickory, N.C., has also been postponed, but a make-up date has not been set. The men’s and women’s tennis teams will host Mount Olive College on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Emmie Evans Rector Tennis Center in Gaffney.

AIKEN, S.C.— The Limestone College tennis teams both lost to USC-Aiken by the score of 9-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Lady Saints fall to 7-6 overall as the Pacers improve to 9-7 overall. The No. 31 Saint men fall to 8-4 overall as No. 10 USC-Aiken climb to 13-3.
