WOMEN'S TENNIS BEATS PFEIFFER

MISENHEIMER, N.C.— The Lady Saints tennis team defeated Pfeiffer University 6-3 in Conference Carolinas play on Saturday afternoon. Limestone improves to 8-7 overall and 5-3 in conference play.
Limestone claimed the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles flights. Jen Snaider (Asuncion, Paraguay) and Eve Aubry (Boucherville, Quebec, Canada) picked up an 8-5 win at the top slot, while Jimena Munoz Quiroga (La Candelaria, Coyoacan, Mexico) and Dunja Drmac defeated their opponents 8-2.
The Lady Saints won four of the six singles matches, with all of those wins coming in two sets. Snaider won at No. 2 as Drmac got a victory at the No. 3 slot. Aubry defeated her opponent at No. 4, and Bridget Knowles (Hendersonville, NC) got a win at No. 5.
Limestone hosts Mount Olive on April 13 at 1 p.m. at the Emmie Evans Rector Tennis Center in Gaffney, S.C.
