Martin is in his 19th season at the helm of Limestone’s softball program. Earlier this season he collected his 500th career win. He also earned Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference Coach of the Year honors in 2003.

Limestone was also recognized for winning the Conference Carolinas Regular Season Championship, the first in the history of the Saints softball program.

Saints seniors Lauren Robertson, Jordan Goodman, and Christina Woolgar

The All-Conference teams were determined by vote from each head coach of participating league institutions.  Nominations were collected and then voted upon by ballot and tallied to determine Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Coach of the Year, All-Conference First Team, and All-Conference Second Team.

The Saints will begin postseason play on April 16. Limestone will face the winner of the #8 Coker/#9 Barton game on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. The event is being hosted by Coker College in Hartsville, S.C.
