BOLENDER SIGNS WITH LIMESTONE TENNIS

GAFFNEY, S.C.— Limestone College Head Tennis Coach Keith Turner as announced that Lauren Bolender has signed to play with the Lady Saints. Bolender hails from North Canton, Ohio.
“I’m excited to have Lauren join our team next year,” stated Turner. “She had a very successful high school tennis career in Ohio and has great potential to become an even stronger player. She is very talented had has great potential to become one of the top players in the conference.”
Bolender played four years of varsity tennis for Hoover High School She was a two-time MVP for the team and was named First-Team All-Federal League as a sophomore, junior, and senior. She garnered Second-Team All-League honors as a freshman. Bolender served as a team captain this season as the team posted a 21-1 record and won the league championship. She had 88 wins during her high school career, one of the highest in school history. She has also competed in USTA matches.
Bolender plans to major in elementary education. She is the daughter of Denise and Chip Bolender. She has a brother, Drew.
