LADY SAINTS GOLF FINISHES 4TH AT WOMEN INDEPENDENT COLLEGIATE

ETOWAH, N.C.—The Limestone College women’s golf team finished fourth in the six-team field at the Women Independent Collegiate hosted by Lincoln Memorial. The Lady Saints carded a one round score of 351. Ansley Smith led the team with a third place finish as she scored 78.
The tournament was held at the par-72, 5,816-yard Etowah Country Club.
Limestone’s Britni Gregory took 13th (85), Miranda Van Arsdale was 21st (89), and Rachael Hageman finished 29th (99).
Tusculum won the tournament with a final score of 314. Tournament-host Lincoln Memorial was second, followed by Erskine in third place. Mars Hill took fifth while Brevard College was sixth.
Limestone will compete in the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational on October 4-6 at the Meadowlands Golf Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
