ANDERSON, S.C.—The Limestone College wrestling team picked up a 21-12 win against Anderson University on Thursday night, but fell to The Citadel (NCAA Division I) 28-3. The Saint’s record stands at 12-6 overall.
Landon Hall (Lousiville, Tenn.) recorded Limestone’s lone win against The Citadel. He picked up an 8-3 decision over Scott Edelson in the 184-pound weight class. He also defeated his opponent from Anderson 4-3.
Six Saints had wins against the Trojans.
Matt Hall (Hamptonville, N.C.) had a 7-0 win in the 125-pound weight class while
Mike Magaha (Seaford, Del.) recorded a technical fall, 16-0, at 133 lbs.
Jeremy Parker (Winchester, Va.) had a 7-2 decision at 141 lbs. Bryce Sopko recorded a major decision, 12-4, in the 165-pound division, while
Casey Bradley (Muncie, Ind.) defeated his opponent 2-0 at 174 lbs.
Limestone travels to Laurinburg, N.C., on February 5 to take on St. Andrews at 7 p.m.
