Jerry Richardson Field
The Jerry Richardson Field is named in honor of former owner and founder of the Carolina Panthers Jerry Richardson following his generous gift of $4.1 million for the Bob Prevatte Athletic Complex in 2018, named for his mentor, coach, and Gaffney football legend Bob Prevatte. The Jerry Richard Field features a state-of-the-art field turf and serves as Limestone’s main practice field for football, field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, and men’s and women’s lacrosse. The Jerry Richardson Field is situated where the old “lower practice field” used to reside down the hill from Saints Field and adjacent to Founders FCU Stadium and Shannon Hamrick Park.
