Walt Griffin P.E. Center

Originally constructed in 2005, the Walt Griffin Physical Education Center was named after Limestone University President Walt Griffin. The PE Center houses the Strength and Conditioning program which includes a weight room with a separate workout field (Hamrick Field) just adjacent to the PE Center.

Also housed within is the Athletic Training Department and the Athletic Training Education Program. The Athletic Training department provides medical services to all student-athletes and has two satellite locations in the Timken Center and the Bob Campbell Field House.

There is also a practice facility for the Limestone University Wrestling team in the PE Center as well.

From Charlotte, N.C. and Points North
Travel south on I-85 and take Exit 90 (Gaffney). Turn left on SC-105/Hyatt Street for approximately three and one-half miles. Make right hand turn onto S. Limestone St, then turn left at the light onto E. O'Neal St. At the flashing yellow lights, turn right onto Thompson St. Then take your first left into the parking lot of the PE Center.

From Charleston and Points South
Head west on I-26. Merge onto I-85 North, taking Exit 90 (Gaffney). Turn left on SC-105/Hyatt Street for approximately three and one-half miles. Make right hand turn onto S. Limestone St, then turn left at the light onto E. O'Neal St. At the flashing yellow lights, turn right onto Thompson St. Then take your first left into the parking lot of the PE Center.

From Myrtle Beach and Points East
Take US-501, eventually merging onto SC-576, US-76 West, State Road S-21-24, SC-327 and I-95. Take Exit 160B, merging onto 1-20 West toward Columbia. Get off at Exit 64B (Spartanburg) and merge onto I-26 West. Take Exit 18B onto I- 85 North and get off at Exit 90 (Gaffney).Merge onto SC-105/Hyatt Street for approximately three and one-half miles. Make right hand turn onto S. Limestone St, then turn left at the light onto E. O'Neal St. At the flashing yellow lights, turn right onto Thompson St. Then take your first left into the parking lot of the PE Center.

From Knoxville, Tenn. and Points West
Merge ont I-40 East via the ramp to Asheville. Continue onto US-74 East and eventually merge onto I-26 East. Take Exit 18B onto I-85 North and get off at Exit 90 (Gaffney).Merge onto SC-105/Hyatt Street for approximately three and one- half miles. Make right hand turn onto S. Limestone St, then turn left at the light onto E. O'Neal St. At the flashing yellow lights, turn right onto Thompson St. Then take your first left into the parking lot of the PE Center.
