Gaffney, SC – On October 2, 2024, the Limestone Saints women's soccer team secured a hard-fought victory against the Wolves with a final score of 2-1 at Saints Field. The match, attended by 87 enthusiastic fans, showcased the Saints' resilience and strategic play. Lucie Bertrand got things rolling for the Saints, scoring the first goal of the game with the assistance of Servane Blouin. Newberry tired in the second half with an equalizing goal by Mikaela Warbuton. Limestone would not stop pursuing victory as Anae Malbete found the back of the net late in the game pulling the team ahead. 

The Saints' defense held strong, with Lucie Bertrand also receiving a caution at the 48:24 mark. The team was dominating ball possession from the start of the game controlling the ball for the majority of the first half.  This victory improves Limestone's record to 2-5-1 overall and 1-3-0 in conference play.
