Shippensburg, PA- Field hockey made their Nationals debut against Shippensburg and fell short in a tough match 3-2. The Saints were on the defense for the majority of the game with Shippensburg offense put multiple shots up and looked strong throughout the game.
STORY OF THE GAME:
First Quarter:

• Victoria Gonzalez Lopez knew she needed to find the back of the net as she scored late in the first quarter, putting her team ahead 1-0.
• Tereza Koprivova made multiple saves throughout the first quarter trying to keep her team in the game.

Second Quarter:

• Agus Garibaldi scored for Shippensburg at the start of the second quarter as she was assisted by Yasmin De Meyer tying the game up 1-1.
• Garibaldi scored again late in the game just before the half putting the Raiders ahead 2-1.  

Third Quarter:

• Nya Gilchrist scored of pass from Hannah White giving her team a 3-1 lead over Limestone.
• Felicitas Herrero Martel scored late in the third receiving a deep pass by Floor Peerbooms.

Fourth Quarter:
Both teams went scoreless in the last quarter, ending the game 3-2.

• Shots: Limestone had 10 shots (4 on goal), while Ship had 13 shots (9 on goal).
• Saves: Limestone made 6 saves, and Ship made 2 saves.
• Penalty Corners: Limestone had 5 penalty corners, and Ship had 9.
• Fouls: Both teams played a clean game with no fouls recorded.
