Gaffney, SC- Men's basketball was home to take on out of conference opponent Mid-Atlantic Christian. Limestone led 95% of the game taking down the Mustangs 84-67. Mid-Atlantic Christian's defense could not corral the Saint's offense. Limestone rises to (3-1, SAC 0-0) Mid-Atlantic Christian falls to (1-2,0-0)
STORY OF THE GAME:
First Half:
- The Saints jumped out to a 12-6 lead early, thanks to offensive efforts by Greg McKay and Isayah Owens.
- Limestone extended their lead immensely after back-to-back three-pointers by Tre Locklear and Sirr Hughes. Suddenly the lead was 22-9
- Hughes took over the offense with four minutes left to go in the first half, tallying an assist, a layup, and another three making the score 37-21.
- Owens drove to the net, drawing a shooting foul. After making both free throws, the Saints closed out the half with a 46-31 lead.
Second Half:
- The Mustangs started the second half out hot and closed the gap to only nine points.
- With under 10 minutes to go in the second half, the Saints decided to turn up the heat. Yaturi Bolton and Trevon Payton both drained threes, which helped the Saints go on a 12-0 run.
- Locklear and Bolton put the final nails in the coffin for the Saints, closing the game with six points and Locklear with 5.

- Greg McKay led the team with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists.
- Bolton went perfect from 3.
- Payton, Locklear, and Emmanuel Okogie each had 1 block.
