Salisbury, N.C. - The Limestone University men's soccer team has had an outstanding season, with several players earning spots on the prestigious All-Region teams. These athletes have shown exceptional talent and dedication, contributing significantly to their team's success. Here is a closer look at the Limestone players who made the First and Second Teams.
First Team Selections
Mark Radoki (F, 6-1, Gr.), (Biberbach, Germany)

• Radoki consistently performed for Limestone. With 12 goals and 5 assists, Radoki has accumulated 29 points, making him one of the highest-scoring players this season. His knack for finding the back of the net and his playmaking abilities have made him a crucial asset for Limestone.

 Hugo Vien (MF, 5-10, Fr.), (Marseille, France)

• Vien has made an immediate impact as a freshman, showcasing his skills and earning a spot on the First Team. With 14 points, Hugo Vien ranks among the top midfielders in the region. His shot accuracy and playmaking abilities have been crucial in creating scoring opportunities for his team. Vien's game-winning goal further underscores his ability to perform in critical moments.

Stefan Roeb (D, 6-0, Gr.), (Königswinter, Germany)

• A stalwart in defense, Roeb has been recognized for his solid performances. His defensive prowess and experience have been invaluable.   His ability to contribute to the attack, as evidenced by his 12 assists, has been a significant asset for the team. With 16 points, Roeb ranks among the top defenders in the region. 

Nikolaj Bertelsen (GK, 6-2, Fr.), (Vejle, Denmark)

• Another freshman making waves, Bertelsen has been a standout goalkeeper, earning a place on the First Team. His shot-stopping abilities and composure under pressure have been impressive. With 14 wins and 11 shutouts, Nikolaj Bertelsen ranks among the top goalkeepers in the region.  Bertelsen's impressive goals-against average of 0.59 and his save percentage of .820 highlight his effectiveness in goal.

Second Team Selections

Claudel N'Goubou (F, 6-5, Gr.), (Auray, France)

• N'Goubou has been a key player for Limestone, earning First Team All-Region honors in 2023 and now being named to the Second Team. His height and strength make him a formidable forward. His performance in recent games has been particularly noteworthy, with significant contributions in matches against Mars Hill and Lenoir-Rhyne. With 19 points, N'Goubou ranks among the top forwards in the region. 

Falk Jorch (D, 6-3, Sr.), (Wuppertal, Germany)

• Senior defender Jorch has been a reliable presence in the backline, earning a spot on the Second Team. His defensive skills and leadership have been crucial for Limestone's defense. Jorch's ability to maintain a high level of play consistently has been a highlight of his season. With 19 games played and started, Jorch ranks among the top defenders in the region.
