Gaffney, SC- Limestone field hockey secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over Mount Olive in a hard-fought match on September 24, 2024. The game went into double overtime, with both teams showcasing their skills and determination on the field.
Mount Olive took an early lead with Gwen Wood scoring a penalty shot in the second quarter. However, Limestone fought back and equalized at the start of the third quarter, with
Zoe Bergmann finding the back of the net assisted by

The game remained deadlocked until the start of double overtime when V. Gonzalez Lopez scored the game-winning goal for the Saints in double overtime securing the victory for the team.
