Boxscore Pembroke, NC- The Limestone women's soccer team suffered a tough 4-0 loss against UNC Pembroke in a match that took place on September 25, 2024 at Lumbee River EMC Stadium. The game was attended by 134 fans and officiated by Howard Ash, Jake Hagemann, and Aaron Cloninger.

UNC Pembroke dominated the match from the start, with Maria Cancio scoring the first goal just 1:53 into the game, assisted by Shakira Kafero Roberts. Anna Grossheim added a second goal for UNC Pembroke at the 4:09 mark. In the second half, Eugenie Amidou scored a goal at the 74:59 mark, with an assist from Anna Grossheim. The final goal of the match came from Mercy Bell at the 89:52 mark, also assisted by Anna Grossheim.

Limestone struggled to match UNC Pembroke's offensive prowess, with only 8 shots (3 on goal) compared to UNC Pembroke's 19 shots (10 on goal). Limestone's goalkeeper made 6 saves, while UNC Pembroke's goalkeeper made 3 saves. UNC Pembroke also had more corner kicks (7 to 1) and fewer fouls (8 to 8) than Limestone.

Despite the loss, the Limestone women's soccer team showed determination and resilience throughout the match. They will look to bounce back in their next game and continue to improve as the season progresses.
