Saints Fall to 19th-ranked Catawba Indians

Limestone looks to come together and have their eyes on the upcoming week

Boxscore Salisbury, N.C. - The Limestone University Women's Soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision at the hands of the #19 Catawba Indians.
Catawba, powerhouse of the SAC in recent years, wasted no time pressuring the Saints, scoring of a Corner Kick on the back post in the 4th minute. 6 minutes later they doubled the lead, making it 2-0. That score would stand until Halftime.
Limestone withstood the Catawba attack for most of the second half, but it was Corner Kicks that doomed the Blue and Gold again in the 2nd Half. Catawba headed in a rebound of a corner in the 64th minute, scored on a counter in the 66th and headed home another corner on the first post in the 68th minute to produce the final 5-0 score of the game.
