First Quarter:

  • Like on Sunday, Limestone started firing quick out of the gates, securing a 23-11 advantage in the 1st quarter.

  • Hill, Watson and Kargo were on the board early to boost the Saints to a quick 8-0 lead.

  • Poe contributed with 2 3's and a couple of Assists and Rebounds in the quarter.

  • Newberry cut the lead to 4 with 2 minutes to go in the quarter, but an 8-point run by Limestone took the fire out of the wolves quickly into the quarter break.

Second Quarter:

  • 6 quick points by Kargo before the Media Timeout had Limestone quickly up to a 17 point lead at 33-16.

  • Free Throws by Poe and Hill in quick succession had the lead at 24 for the Saints, the Wolves trailing 19-43, the largest lead of the game.

  • After another dominant quarter for the home side, Limestone took a 45-23 lead into halftime.

Third Quarter:

  • Limestone's offense slowed a little down in the 2nd half, scoring only 33 more points.

  • Newberry made use of the Saints down after the half and took the advantage down to 15 quickly.

  • It was a back-and-forth affair from then onwards, as neither team could develop a run. 5 more consecutive points by Kargo concluded the 3rd quarter with a 61-40 lead.

Fourth Quarter:

  • The Wolves had the better start into the quarter once more and cut the lead to 15 within 3 minutes of the final period.
