GAFFNEY, SC – In a spirited contest at Founders FCU Stadium on March 25, 2025, Limestone University (14-18) showcased resilience and determination, though ultimately falling to Erskine College (16-15) with a final score of 11-8. The game, which captivated 189 attendees, was a testament to Limestone's fighting spirit.

Limestone's comeback began in the fourth inning, where they rallied with six runs to erase a five-run deficit. Key contributions came from Corey Hodierne, who drove in two runs, and Tyler Hughesman, whose timely hitting kept the momentum alive. Despite their efforts, Erskine managed to pull ahead in the final innings.

Tucker McSwain (0-1) took the loss for Limestone, but the team's performance highlighted their potential and tenacity. Standout moments included Cole Kirschner's two RBIs and solid defensive plays that kept the game within reach.
