Greeneville, Tenn. – The Limestone Saints baseball team showed their grit and determination as they split a doubleheader against the Tusculum Pioneers in their South Atlantic Conference matchup on March 8, 2025, at Pioneer Park. With this split, the Saints secured a series victory, taking two out of three games against the Pioneers.
Game 1:
In the first game of the doubleheader, the Saints faced a tough challenge from Tusculum, falling 11-3. Despite the loss, there were bright spots for Limestone. The Saints' scoring began in the sixth inning when Cole Kirschner crossed the plate on a single by Peter Adams. In the eighth inning, Tyler Hughesman scored on a single by Winston Parke. In the ninth inning, Ben Partridge added another run on a sacrifice fly by Jermie Greene.
