Greenville, S.C. – The Limestone University men's golf team demonstrated remarkable improvement on the second day of the 2025 South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Men's Golf Championship, held at The Preserve at Verdae from April 13 to April 15, 2025. Hosted by the South Atlantic Conference, this prestigious tournament features top NCAA Division II teams from across the conference.

After a challenging first round, Limestone's golfers showed resilience and skill, moving up in the standings with a total score of +31. The team faced tough competition but managed to climb two spots, showcasing their determination and competitive spirit.

Individual Performances:

• Lane Whitsell: Lane continued to lead the team with an even-par score of 72, maintaining his strong performance from the first round. Whitsell sits tied for forth heading into the final round. 
• Edgar Eriksson: Edgar showed improvement, finishing the second round with a score of +1, bringing his total to +8.
• Brock Reid: Brock faced challenges but managed to complete the second round with a score of +4, totaling +13.
• Garrett Pinkerton: Garrett added valuable points with a score of +5 in the second round, bringing his total to +13.
• Cole Ross: Cole faced difficulties but persevered, finishing the second round with a score of +10, totaling +16.
