Limestone University Baseball Triumphs Over Emory & Henry, Secures Series Win

Gaffney, S.C. – The Limestone University Baseball team showcased their resilience and determination at home, taking the series 2-1 against Emory & Henry on April 5, 2025. The Saints battled hard and demonstrated their ability to dominate, making their fans proud.

Game 1 – Limestone 8, Emory & Henry 3

Limestone took an early lead in the first inning, scoring two runs. They continued to build their lead with one run in the second inning, four runs in the sixth, and one run in the eighth. Emory & Henry responded with runs in the fourth and sixth innings but fell short with a final score of 8-3. Key contributions included a two-RBI single by Zach Greenberg and a three-RBI triple by Winston Parke. Kemper Nix delivered a strong pitching performance, striking out five batters over six innings. Despite Emory & Henry's efforts, Limestone's offense proved too powerful.
