SALISBURY, N.C. – The Limestone University baseball team extended its postseason run with a big win over Coker on Saturday afternoon, using a five-run seventh inning and a dominant bullpen effort to seal a 7-5 victory at Newman Park in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament.

Key Moments:
Limestone wasted no time getting on the board, scoring two runs in the top of the first inning. Corey Hodierne opened the game with a double down the left field line, and after a single from Ethan Bonocore, Ben Partridge drove in the first run on a fielder's choice. Sion Barnette followed with a double to left-center to give the Saints an early 2-0 lead.

Coker answered with a run in both the first and second innings to tie the game at 2-2. The Cobras took a 3-2 lead in the fifth on a sacrifice fly following a passed ball, but the Saints' bats came alive in the seventh.
With the bases loaded, Zach Greenberg tied the game at 3-3 with a single through the left side. Barnette then broke the game open with a towering grand slam to left field, giving Limestone a commanding 7-3 lead.

Coker cut into the lead with a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth, but Evan Soeffker closed the door with five strong innings of relief, allowing just two earned runs to earn the win.
