Ahmad Nesbitt is entering his first season as an Assistant Cross Country and Track and Field Coach at Limestone University. Prior to coming to Gaffney, Nesbitt served as a graduate assistant at the University of West Georgia from 2021-2023 where he was responsible for assisting the cross country and track and field teams. While there he worked with the distance runners in all aspects of the program. Prior to his time at the University of West Georgia, Nesbitt was a volunteer assistant for the USC Upstate Cross Country and Track and Field program. There he helped assisted the distance runners in practices and strength and conditioning sessions.
A member of the North Greenville University track and field program from 2012-2015, Nesbitt competed in the NCAA Division II cross country championships and was named the southeast runner of the year for the 2014 season. Nesbitt was also a five-time All-Conference performer, including three first team selections in cross country and track and field.
Nesbitt currently holds a NSCA Strength and Conditioning Certification, a master’s in student Affairs (2023) from the University of West Georgia, and a bachelor’s degree in health promotion and wellness (2016) from North Greenville University.
