Kendall Collins

Kendall Collins

Fresh off an All-American playing career in the Blue and Gold, Kendall Collins is in his first year as an assistant lacrosse coach at Limestone University.

Collins, a two-time All-American with the Saints, helped guide Limestone to an NCAA Division II National Championship as a freshman in 2017 and was instrumental in leading the Blue and Gold to a national title game appearance in 2019. The team most recently reached the NCAA National Semifinals this past year.

With the addition of Collins, the Saints boast plenty of national championship experience on the sidelines. He was a teammate of Kevin Reisman, who also serves as an assistant coach for the Saints, on the 2017 national championship team – a team in which Storrier and Coach Bill Milone were part of the coaching staff. Storrier has coached in five national title games, winning three as an assistant in 2014, 2015, and 2017, while Reisman played in four national championship games with Collins playing in two title games.

Milone has four national championships rings (2000, 2014, 2015, 2017) and has coached in seven title games, including as the program’s head coach in the 2001 championship game. Combined, the coaching staff has coached or played in an aggregate of 18 national championship games for the Blue and Gold.

Collins joins the coaching staff following a six-year playing career with the Saints, including a year that was cut short by COVID in 2020 and a year missed due to injury in 2021. During his tenure, he was named a USILA All-American twice and an all-conference selection three times – 2019, 2020, and 2022.

After helping Limestone win a national title as a freshman in 2017, he earned All-American honors during his junior campaign by anchoring a stout Limestone defense that ranked fourth in the nation in 2019 and guiding the Saints to their sixth NCAA Division II National Championship Game over an eight-year span.

As a senior, Collins was named an USILA Preseason All-American, but the 2020 season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He again was selected as a preseason All-American in 2021 – his first year as a graduate student at Limestone – but would miss the shortened season recovering from injury.

A 2020 USILA Scholar All-American, Collins would have a banner year during his final season in the Blue and Gold, logging 29 caused turnovers and 48 groundballs during the 2022 campaign. He anchored a defensive unit that ranked 11th nationally while helping lead the Saints to its first ever South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Championship and the program’s 20th NCAA Tournament appearance.

His 29 caused turnovers this year ranks as the third highest single-season tally in team history while he is ranked seventh in Limestone lacrosse history with 51 career caused turnovers. Collins was named All-SAC First Team, All-SAC Tournament Team, USILA/Dynamic Division II All-South Region First Team, and USILA/Dynamic Division II All-American Second Team to close his playing career with the Saints.

Collins graduated from Limestone with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and Business Administration before earning a Master of Business Administration.
